Human Resources Employee


CHA encourages all employees to seek new opportunities, and to develop additional job skills during their employment. To that end, employees are encouraged to take advantage of training opportunities offered by Human Resources and Operating Departments. Employees are also encouraged to request permission from their department director to attend training or seminars relevant to their position and, where extended course work is necessary, to seek participation in CHA’s Tuition Reimbursement Program. CHA’s policy is to offer opportunities for advancement to CHA employees wherever practicable. CHA therefore posts vacant positions internally to invite interested and qualified employees who have one (1) year of continuous, active employment to seek promotional opportunities.

Wages, Title and Grade

Human Resources EmployeeAt the time a candidate is offered CHA employment or a promotion, they are assigned a title within CHA’s classification and pay plan. The title has a corresponding job description that is developed and maintained by the Human Resources Department. The grade is a number assigned to the salary scale of the position.
