Description:
This position provides a focal point for the reporting, dispatching, and resolution of all issues under the control of the Information Technology Services department. This position has the authority to evaluate users’ problems, determine if the problems are user, software, or equipment related, and then assign the problems to the appropriate ITS area for problem resolution. The
Analyst will also conduct 1st level problem determination or terminal resets, outages, password expirations, forgotten password or user identification numbers, software inquiries and hardware problems. Responsible for closing out all work orders that have been resolved daily.
Requirements: This position requires an Associates degree in Computer Science. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with a minimum of two years experience in an IT environment or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Proficiency with installing Windows operating systems and software applications is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with end-users regarding service requests and external contacts to request or provide information. The Minimum Salary for this position is: $34,455.00 |
