Michael Moran serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Chicago Housing Authority. Since joining CHA in 2012, he has overseen a department that has received both the Distinguished Presentation Award and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for 25 consecutive years. He previously served as Deputy CFO and Director of Budgeting.
Mr. Moran has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is an avid Chicago sports fan, having attended all 2005 White Sox playoff games.
