Chicago’s Coordinated Entry System

The Coordinated Entry System (CES) connects people who are experiencing homelessness to housing opportunities in Chicago. Access Points provide Coordinated Entry Assessments and updates on a walk-in basis. To get help quickly, visit a CES Access Point (see list below), call 3-1-1 or call the The Phone Access Point at 312.971.4178. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, and Tuesdays: 4:00 – 9:00 PM.

Housing for Veterans

The National Call Center for Homeless Veterans is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Dial 1-877-4AID-VET (1-877-424-3838) to access the US Department of Veteran Affairs services for homeless resources.

Victims of Domestic Violence

Call 911 if you are in danger or need medical assistance.

When you are able, call the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline at 877-863-6338 for additional resources, including housing options. All calls are confidential.
