Exterior of Paseo Boriqua near Humboldt Park

CHA was proud to join our partners in the Humboldt Park community earlier this week to celebrate the opening of Nancy Franco Maldonado Paseo Boricua Arts Building. This distinctive building complements Paseo Boricua’s business and cultural district, which is the heart of Chicago’s Puerto Rican community. CHA has committed to providing rental assistance to six units at this site, representing more $12 million in aid to families over the next 30 years.

This colorful and historic neighborhood has amenities where families can live, learn, work, play, receive healthcare, and enjoy the arts. We know that housing serves as a foundation that unlocks opportunities, which is why CHA is investing in projects and partnerships throughout Humboldt Park and throughout Chicago.
