Partnering for Sustainability: Tree Planting at Dearborn Homes

Team CHA joined the Chicago-based nonprofit Openlands and corporate sponsor United Airlines to plant 25 trees across the campus at Dearborn Homes.

The new trees at Dearborn will provide additional shade for residents in the summer, help manage storm water runoff, and reduce air pollution. Watch out for more opportunities to increase Chicago’s urban forest at other CHA properties!
