Board Meetings are intended to oversee the management and operations of the housing authority, ensuring that it fulfills its mission to provide safe, affordable housing. During these meetings, the Board reviews and approves policies, budgets, and strategic initiatives, discusses property management and development projects, and addresses tenant services and concerns. The Board's decisions during these meetings help shape the direction and effectiveness of the housing authority.

Meeting Schedule

The CHA Board of Commissioners holds regular meetings open to the public. This transparency allows community members to stay informed about decisions that affect housing policies and provides an opportunity for public input. However, certain portions of the meetings, such as closed sessions, may be private and limited to the Board and specific staff members for discussing internal or confidential matters.
