Three CHA students participating in DePaul’s “Become a Filmmaker” program got the chance of a lifetime in 2023 - traveling to the Cannes (France) Film Festival - thanks to the generosity of Chicago businesswoman Chaz Ebert, who funded the trip.

CHA Scholarship Put Therapist Jordan Henderson on the Right Track

The application period for the 2024-2025 CHA/Springboard to Success (S2S) Scholarship is now open. This year, 125 scholarships of $2,000 apiece are being offered. Any current CHA resident planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2024 is eligible to apply.

Resident Spotlight: Molly Wilson named to Mayor's Youth Commission

CHA resident Molly Wilson was recently named to the 5th cohort of the Mayor’s Youth Commission. The Youth Commission meets monthly to give their input on youth-related City projects and policy. Youth Commissioners are between the ages of 14-19 and were selected through a rigorous application process which saw a record number of applicants from across the city.

He grew up in an attentive, loving family on Chicago’s South Side – overcoming a congenital foot ailment. Today, he is a student at National Louis University studying social work, with a passion for poetry and helping others.
